Summary of course: Join your fellow nurses for a 2-day, in person event designed for Nurse Managers and Administrators who are new to long term care, OR for those looking for a refresher after a few years of distraction. Attendees will receive comprehensive information necessary to improve day-to-day operations.
Day 1 (8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.):
A deep-dive with Becky Bartle, who will cover:
- The Regulatory Environment, including how facilities are surveyed, the compliance cycle, an an introduction to SOM and F-Tags.
- The Survey Process, including a review of available survey tools which can be incorporated into the Quality Assurance program to support compliance ongoing.
- The Plan of Correction and IDR/IIDR
Day 2 (8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.) :
- Recap of Day 1 with Becky Bartle
- MDS with Proactive LTC Consulting
- 5 Star and Quality Measures for the DON with Proactive LTC Consulting
- Self-Care and Team Motivation with Becky Bartle
