Call for Presentations

We invite you to submit a proposal to present at future LeadingAge Indiana conferences and educational programs.

LeadingAge Indiana conferences and educational programs provide exciting forums for the exchange of practical knowledge and new strategies related to the provision of services to older adults.

2021 Spring Conference: May 10-11, 2021

Who's the Audience?

Conferences and educational programs are attended by leaders from across the continuum of aging services. Education is geared towards directors of nursing, administrators, finance, social work, rehabilitation, human resources, recreation and activities, adult day health care, dietary, and admissions.

Key staff of all types of aging services providers will attend, including skilled nursing facilities, affordable senior housing, continuing care retirement communities, and assisted living.

Selection Process

Sessions are intended to educate/support learning and therefore should not sell, promote, or pitch any specific product or service. We welcome and encourage a variety of formats to meet attendees' needs, such as traditional instruction, case studies, and panel discussions (panels with LeadingAge IN provider members are encouraged).

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Applicability to service providers across the continuum of care

  • Overall quality of content and education method

  • Timeliness and relevance of subject matter

  • Interactivity of the session

  • Qualifications, expertise, and experience level of the speaker(s) or panel

*Please note that presentations made to LeadingAge Indiana members as break out sessions at conferences are considered contributions to the profession and all related expenses (honoraria, travel, and program development) are the responsibilities of the presenter(s).
